Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder is a Face to Face OR a Virtual Training Event to take place in Lincoln Central Library and Redwood in Nottingham- Face to Face with two Virtual events.
The course aims are for you to understand:
- What is psychiatric diagnosis?
- What is EUPD / BPD and why is it sometimes controversial?
- Prevalence of EUPD and issues such as gender and ethnicity
- Links with adverse childhood experiences, early relationships and interpersonal trauma
- Treatment and recovery
- Putting the person first: working effectively with people with an EUPD diagnosis:
- Considering the language you use
- Strengths-based and person-centred approaches
- Supporting people to regulate their emotions
- Safety planning
- Supporting access to appropriate services
- Managing your own responses and collective care
