This Blended Learning course is designed for those learners who want to know about people from abroad and welfare benefits.
Learners will gain an understanding of which people from abroad can claim benefit, which can’t and why some may have difficulties claiming.
It will look at the rules for protected EEA Nationals as well as Visa Nationals and will dispel myths and explain terminology.
This a complex area of welfare benefit law and so will provide a basic understanding of the rules to enable learners to make appropriate referrals.
The 3 hour online Workshop will be followed by an E-Learning module looking at some specific issues for protected EEA Nationals. Note: this course will look at welfare benefits only and will not cover immigration or housing law.
