Are you looking to manage a project this year? If so, this course will equip you with the tools and techniques to manage a project in your service/team using the Framework Project Management Methodology.
Course features:
· 2-day course delivered in a interactive workshop style
· Practical course with a focus on tools and technical and using examples of recent/current Framework projects (but which are underpinned by Agile and Waterfall/Linear project management methodologies)
· Content: Project lifecycle, problem solving, stakeholder management and the opportunity to either plan the project you will be managing or take part in a simulation based on a recent Framework project.
· Provides an opportunity to work with colleagues from other services.
Logistics: face to face course spread over 2 days – one week apart
Suitable for: Managers / team leaders or others who will be leading projects in the coming months
Outcomes:
By the end of the course delegates will:
1. Have learned key methods and techniques for planning a project and implementing a project at Framework.
2. Be able to use Project Management tools and techniques to projects to develop their own service but also that can be useful in a range of situations from managing a DIY project to organising a social event.
3. Have access to the Framework Project Management Resource Hub
4. Have built their networks with colleagues from other teams at Framework
Course leader: The course is delivered by Anne Willmot, Framework’s Project Manager. Anne joined Framework in 2021 and has over 30 years’ experience in managing a wide range of projects in the private and voluntary sectors. She has a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration with a specialism in Project Management, a PRINCE 2 qualification and has recently completed a course in Agile Project Management course at Oxford University
